Psalm 119

The double-minded I abhor,

Free Church of Scotland psalter · L.M.

Verses 113–120 of Psalm 119

The words

The double-minded I abhor, But your commands I love, O LORD. You are my refuge and my shield; I’ve set my hope upon your word.

You evildoers, leave me now, That God’s commands I may obey. By your word keep me; I shall live. Let not my hope be swept away.

Uphold me, and I shall be saved; For your decrees I have respect. All those who stray from your commands And practise falsehood you reject.

The wicked you discard like dross; Therefore I love your holy law. My body quakes for fear of you; Of your commands I stand in awe.

How is this list ordered?

Curated pairings come first — a tune a curator recorded against this text, with the fitness they recorded. A tune that merely shares the meter is listed as a tune in the same meter and never as a pairing.

Nothing here is ranked by popularity or use. The page reports what a curator recorded, not a verdict of its own.
